The Internet is still a relatively young, immature technology. In 10 years’ time, looking back, it may be difficult to understand how we were able to get by using a simple browser as our primary contact with this vast information resource. Today’s browser has extremely limited functionality – it is essentially constrained to the point of treating our sophisticated desktop PC as a “dumb terminal”.
The WebFragger takes one step forward in increasing browser functionality. This PLATFORMedia application enables automatic fragmentation of website content, creating a new sort of browser in which the user can choose the content from any website location. The WebFragger can automatically maintain the redesigned content “fresh” and fixed in a chosen place. Furthermore, the application can create an automatic live XML data–feed from any fragment.
